Depression? Symptoms and complaints

Are you depressed? Exhaustion is often a symptom of depression, sometimes of burnout. You feel tired and exhausted and cannot move forward. Often you do not know why this is, and it seems like something that suddenly takes you over.

Depressed? Reason for your exhaustion

What is the reason for this exhaustion? There are several mechanisms for this, but one of the most important ones is an overstimulation of the adrenal gland for months or even years, leading to a type of over-use or poisoning of the hippocampus, which is a part of your brain. This exhaustion leads to brain cells either not functioning properly or even dying. So the feeling that you cannot think anymore or are fatigued, is not something you are making up. You feel effectively exhausted because a part of your brain cells is literally exhausted by their over-usage during an extended period of time.

Exhausted and depressed? Can you do anything about it?

Yes, medical science has improved a lot in the past 10 years, and nowadays medics know how to solve this exhaustion. In my practise as a physician, I see tens of people with this problem, and when they get proper guidance, they are able to escape their vicious cycle. Because I noticed that many people do not get the right help from the people around them, I developed an online internet program together with a team of scientists, doctors, psychiatrists, and psychologists. This program should help people to help themselves out of this exhaustion. People log onto the self-help program '15Minutes4Me.com' on a daily basis. On average, a participant is 77% less depressed and exhausted after only one month of participation. This is what was found in our first study.
